Grand Canyon University offers three distinct courses of religious study for their online learners.
They offer a Bachelor of Art in Christian Studies with an emphasis either on Pastoral, Worship, or Youth.
Pastoral Emphasis
This degree focuses on a foundational education in Biblical studies, with a built in core of theology as well as a study of Christian history. This program emphasizes the skills necessary to successfully reach an audience made up of young people. Those who graduate with this degree will make excellent youth leaders in their churches. They will be taught how to design and to grow a youth ministry successfully.
To enroll in either program with Grand Canyon University the perspective student must live in Canada or the US and speak English. The student must have a high school degree and be at least 21 years old. The University charges $360 per credit hour for undergraduate degrees, with a $100 fee for application and a $100 fee for graduation. Financial aid is available to qualified applicants. The entire program is 128 credit hours. The length the program takes to complete will depend on the amount of credits taken per semester. Courses are delivered by qualified faculty in an online multimedia forum format.
